December Bunco and Cookie Exchange

Hey Gals,

December Bunco is at my house (Tara's). In lieu of a gift, please bring a plate of goodies. For those of you who aren't big bakers, I have listed some links to easy recipes and semi-homemade stuff and some no-bake treats.

It's going to be December 13 at 7 pm at my house.

So far I have me, Katie, Brandi (?), Jamie, Tara and Steph (?). Laura Davis and hopefully Heidi Ryan are subbing. Anyone else? Please let me know so I can prepare more or less food and get subs if you can't. You won't want to miss this night!

November Bunco

Hey, hey ladies! I have heard back from about half of the ladies so Bunco will be on Thursday November 1. It is the day after Halloween, so hopefully no one will be partied out. It'll be fun!

Butternut Squash and Potaoe Soup

Butternut Squash and Potatoe Soup
1 stick butter
2 large butternut squashpeeled and cubed
4c. chicken broth
1/4tsp. pepper
1sm. block velveeta cheese
cubed
1pkg. frozen southern stylehash browns,
thawed
1c. sour cream
salt
Bring butter, broth, squash, and pepper to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer untill squash is tender. Cool slightly. Using beaters or a blender, puree squash mixture untill smooth. Bring back to boil, reduce heat and add hash browns and velveeta. Simmer untill potatoes are done. Stir in sour cream and salt to taste!
